Pair of 12mm, brass kepi cap/cuff buttons. Made prior to the Civil War for civilian usage.  Plain and flower buttons are common finds in Confederate campsites.  These would be perfect and authentic buttons to add to a re-enactor kepi or to restore an original cap.
