Two piece "US" Belt Buckle.  Both the tongue and wreath are marked "Storms" on the keepers! This popular design was worn on buff leather belts and are occasionally recovered from Civil War camps. They span the era from the Second Seminole War through the Mexican War, with final usage from supplies stored in Southern Arsenals and issued out to Southern militias during the Civil War.
