21mm, Infantry Officer's coat button with unlisted design; backmark "(wreath)". Loaded with silver.  Found in South Carolina. This button looks like it would clean up bright but am leaving that to someone else to do.  Unlisted in Albert's or Tice's book, the design is shown as Plate 20-8 on Page 45 of American Military Buttons, An Interpretive Study. The Early Years 1785-1835 by Bazelon and Leigh.  Rare.
