24mm, Civil War Era Georgia coat button, with a "Horstmann & Allien/NY" w/ rays backmark. This is a classic Civil War Georgia button and most of these GA 4's are encountered in brass finish only.  This one was gilded and retains nice highlights around the device. It looks even nicer in person than in the picture.
