24mm, Civil War era Georgia coat button, with a "W. G. Mintzer/Phila 1861" rmdc backmark.  This backmark is one of the very few that includes a date.  Button is dug with gilt highlighting has a slight push/crease on face and retains its original shank and overall is a very nice button.
