23mm, Confederate "CSA" General Service button dug in Augusta, GA. "Superior Quality" Backmark.  Found in Augusta, Georgia.  This is one that was there and saw service.

While many of these buttons did not make it through the blockade, those that did were issued to Confederate soldiers during the Civil War.  Augusta, Georgia, served as a vital Confederate manufacturing and transportation hub, particularly known for its Confederate Powder Works, which produced gunpowder, and its role as a rail center.
