Rare Civil War 3rd Army Corps insignia. Silhouette style (would have had a cloth insert), dug and with catch for the pin intact.  These are very fragile  and this is in amazing condition for an excavated item. In fact, I do not know that I have seen a nicer dug example. The finds location in Virginia is known to me and available with the piece.
